Export an Animated File from Daz to Poser

edited December 1969 in Daz Studio Discussion

Hallo,
how can I openable an animated character in Poser? I have tried all the export options, but nothing worked. Not in Poser and not in Cinema 4D.

I work with Poser 2014 and Cinema 4D R14

Thanks in advance

If you are using a version of Poser that supports the DSON Importer and your figure is a TriAx figure such as Genesis a scene file should go into Poser OK. For legacy figures you could use the Poser Format Exporter (free in the store) to save an animated PZ2 file and apply that in Poser.

I work with Poser Pro 2014, I have DSON and PFE instaled. I export the file (Victoria 6 animated) and store it as CR2. I can make this file into Poser open but without the animation. So just as a static figure. What am I doing wrong?
Even I who use the PFE I just get a static figure. Always missing the animation sequence.

PFE exports poses, not figures (or props). But if you ave a scene file that will have the animation, and you can load that either directly with the DimensionX script or by creating Poser Companion Files for it as explained in the docs http://docs.daz3d.com/doku.php/public/software/dson_importer/poser/userguide/dson_content_conversion/start .

Hello and thanks for the help.
I now have a week trying to open an animated file from DazStudio 4.6 in Poser. I have succeeded in any of the available formats. Unfortunately, I have to say the DazStudio is unfortunately inkompatiebel to other programs. I will use it only as a platform for figures in Poser.
