Saving new surfaces

Hey.

I've created a new surface for a piece of clothing using the Polygon Group Editor and was wondering if it is possible to save this as a preset so I can apply it to the same piece of clothing in a new scene or on another character.

Edit: I'm pretty new with this, so please talk to me like I'm 5 ^^

    You can not save surface group as preset, eg material or poze etc.
    These grouping need to be saved with geometry data.

    You can save the item as scene subset with keeping new surface group.
    it store geometry data, with new surface grouping in the sugset.duf file.

    (but you must keep the original item data before you modify surface group ., the subset load the UV
    from original I think. if you uninstall originall contents ,your subset can not work. )

    or If you hope to use the item often, you can save it as figure and prop with different name.
    it means you make new figure which have same geometry same uv set but different surface group.

    Just save the item as a Figure or Prop Asset and Name it Just a bit different than the original item. That or as said save as a Scene Subset.
