Fabricator Not Fabricating

Hello,

I believe I'm doing everything that's needed to change the fabric on my characters' clothing (selecting the item of clothing; clicking twice on the desired fabric), but nothing happens. I'm using a MAC. Does that matter? Any and all insights will be appreciated. Thanks, Zorwench

    select the clothing, then go to the surface tab and select your clothing there then double click on the fabric
