Teen Jayden has arrived and we couldn't be more excited. Feel free to use this thread to discuss all things Jayden and to share your thoughts and renders of DAZ's 2nd character for Genesis 2 Male.

If you are looking for a review of Jayden jimzombie has done a thorough one. You can find more about that in this thread.

    Here's one I just did.
Both are Jayden based with self spinning - left a little more self spun then right.

Something strange with his pectoral muscles. They look like ones of male morph for V3. Not as male muscles.
Seems he has some sort of gynecomastia.

So far Gen2M is better than Gen2F - at least for my tastes. Jayden is quite nice, although I still prefer Justin. I was mildly positively surprised by the contents of both bundles. In fact, I enjoyed most outfits and haircuts. It looks like a lot of vendors waited with releasing down-to-earth contemporary clothes for Gen2M until Jayden came out. I though I could list them below.

    From haircuts, I like:
http://www.daz3d.com/brit-hair-for-genesis-2-male-s (most, almost a must-have; I'm surprised Gen2M Essentials lack a hairdo, this would do perfectly)
    http://www.daz3d.com/surfer-hair (second)
    http://www.daz3d.com/smart-hair (quite)

    From outfits:
    http://www.daz3d.com/skate-park-outfit-for-genesis-2-male-s (nearly a must-have)
http://www.daz3d.com/cargo-shorts-and-tee-for-genesis-2-male-s and http://www.daz3d.com/parkour-wear-for-genesis-2-male-s (they look quite alike, but they can be useful)
http://www.daz3d.com/trendy-college-outfit-for-genesis-2-male-s (a bunch of interesting items)
http://www.daz3d.com/internship-outfit-for-genesis-2-male-s (very needed for formal renders, although the textures on the shirt are too quirky for such clothes)
http://www.daz3d.com/day-by-day-for-genesis-2-male-s (what caught my attention was the pair of shoes)

From the characters, I like this one: http://www.daz3d.com/fw-ash-character-and-accessories.

I think you should really start thinking about children of all ages. They're so underrepresented in the shop! I bet there must have been li' Vicky and Mike ;). Jayden is a relatively decent starting point, but both Josie and he are still too adult. Growing Up packs are very nice, but sometimes you just want a variety of ready-to-render characters like Jade for K4.

And the last thing... It's a pity you didn't think of how people would abbreviate both teenagers' names. G4, F4, D3, S5... They all had unique first letters which made it easy to shorten. When I say J6, what do I mean? Julie or Justin? Josie or Jayden? :D

Yeah there's lots of clothing I can use for my teen characters in this pack. Still would like some shorter hair though, but I've been able to convert and rig (badly) some old M4/M3 hair to use. And I like the Ash head morph too.

I am with you about the short hair.
have been roaming other sites as well, but haven't found a lot.
My preferred hair choice is now Micah hair and Guilaume hair.
Guillaume I always load double because it's a tad too thinned out.
Hurray for a fast pc, those fibermesh hairs can be heavy to deal with but look so realistic.

Anyone else who thinks Teen Jayden looks like Justin Bieber?
This made me remember a picture a saw from a rock bar of the tip can, and this image came to my mind...

Nicely done Totte. Haven't noticed the similarity myself.

Obviously, I like the added options provided by Jayden and other bits and dials.

Here's my take on a "younger Jayden" who I decided to call Toby.
I started with the base G2M then applied Zev0's Younger Teen preset and spun the dials from there making use of Zev0's Pecking Order mod as well.
Skin Is the SSS version of Zev0's Brothers for G2M (of course).

I'm really liking Jayden, thanks for the morph ZeV0 going to download them soon. The first render is the teens dressed up, I guess I was thinking something similar to school spirit week days or halloween

First thing I do when loading Jayden, is dialing the lips down a bit.
    Otherwise, I fairly like him!

I think about making a "teen war" between two duets: Julie and Justin; Josie and Jayden. Is somebody eager to make something like that? It would allow us to compare those figures. Maybe in swimsuits so that the bends are visible.

What an amazing character Teen Jayden 6 has turned out to be. I must congratulate Daz and the skin texture artists who worked on this model. I have seen it said in other threads, and I shall repeat here, how greatly skin textures have been improving in general over the months.

When it comes to male textures, once the basic shape is established, it is the chest and nipple detail, blemishes, moles, subtle body hair and navel detail that makes all the difference. I have certainly noticed the texture artists now giving more detail and care to these items, which sets their skin textures apart from the readily available standard Merchant resource textures.

I have also purchased and recommend the additional Character textures :-

    http://www.daz3d.com/new-releases/fw-ash-character-and-accessories by Fisty and FWArt
    http://www.daz3d.com/new-releases/colin by Countess and Silver
    http://www.daz3d.com/gabriel by Countess and Silver

These additional characters also have totally amazing detailed skin textures. I wish to thank the above mentioned artists for their stunning work. Teen Jayden 6 is certainly going to be a great character to work with, and provide endless detailed renders.

    Many thanks.

Is Jayden needed inside Supersuit in this render? M5 Hero would look better, imho.

Yes, you are probably right, but Genesis 2 Male has better looking eyes in my opinion.
That is why I have used him in the scene.

Jayden sneaked in when my back was turned. Sadly, it's been a month of heavy bills so I've had to put buying him on the back-burner for a bit. Fret not though, no youths shall escape my eager grasp and I'll be grabbing the bundle as soon as I am able.

    Great works from everyone here.

Ash has the extraordinary eyes and there is no need to hide them behind the glasses.

Here is another render from me, this time it is FW Ash, with some added body hair, and rendered with Lantios Lights 2 set 09.

Hope you enjoy, and looking forward to seeing more renders.

He looks really good! Can I ask if the hair on his belly is just one of the options or one cannot get rid of it?

    Hi Cecilia,

Thanks for your kind comment. The body hair was a prop from an unrelated product that I used for this scene.

You are welcome, thank you for pointing out the hair is optional. You know, when I saw your render, I immediately thought: "The best 3D Mowgli so far!" :). Good job, I mean it.
