Is there ax merchant resource somewhere for M4 eyebrows? I don't plan on selling, I just waft variety for both ealistic and toon characters. I know the first suggestion is to paint it, bt having an unsteady hand and visual impairment, painting isn't my skill.

Thanks in advance.

...I'm in the same boat, bad arthritis.

I can "paint out" eyebrows easy enough by using the clone and repair tools in Gimp, but to create new ones, forget it.

The other issue I have with painted eyebrows is rarely can you get different colours to match the hair. It just looks so wrong to have a fair haired character with thick dark eyebrows. The two hair generation systems, while good at what they do, just can't seem to get the "fineness" and grouping required to make them look right.

Would be nice if there was some sort of 2D overlay resource (that wasn't only for Photoshop but would work in any application that supported .png layers), or maybe even something that employed the LIE, to change brow colour.

I know for one that Photoshop stuff works in Gimp 2.6. Tried some brushes once and it wo8rked.

Sickle has some brow conformers on Rendo, but they are for Genesis. I'm doing M4. There's also the 1-Click Face Hair here on DAZ but it's for Poser. I don't have Poser.

...some does, not all. I actually use PSP for working with layers as I find it a bit more intuitive. Unfortunately unless you have version X6, you are out of luck using Photoshop brushes and such (I only have X4).

If you've got a fairly recent build of GIMP, then most Photshop brushes will work...and with the newest builds, you even have a very nice set of dynamics for them.

HEY! Look down in the resource files here:
    http://www.daz3d.com/1-click-m4-face-hair-for-poser

I put my nose in it. It has brows and trans maps. I could use the trans map as a layer mask and lay it over a texture.

....If I don't own that product, am I even allowed to have those?

Your allowed to own anything and use it anyway for your personal use. You want it get it and use it how you please for your own work. Selling and giving away is when things get sticky.

The eyebrow thing has been an annoyance for many. If you check this ShareCG freebie, there is a mini-tut on eyebrows in one of the promos. It's a V4 Drow, but the same idea applies to M4.

Basically, you paint over the eyebrows on whatever texture you have, then make the eyebrow of the figure visible, and apply a transmap to the opacity of the eyebrow. Color to suit.

    Here's a link to Marieah's old 1-click brows for M4 freebie: http://www.sharecg.com/v/65650/view/21/DAZ-Studio/Marieahs-1-Click-M4-Brows

Note: this is still packaged in one of Daz's old *.exe installers

Here’s a handy set of click-on eyebrows for Daz Studio that will transform your M4, F4 and H4 characters from blondes to brunettes, from black haired to white haired and to ginger and back again. You can use them with the 1-Click Face Hair, or by themselves with matching head hair to completely change the look of your favourite textures. If you don’t have a browless face texture already, you can quickly open the face map in your image editor, clone skin over the brow area and use this as your base for the 1-Click Brows.

This pack includes 15 brow presets comprising three styles in five colors – black, brown, blonde, ginger and white. The styles are:
    • Normal Brow for average and exceptional human characters
    • Mono Brow for old, hairy, unkempt and monster renders
    • Manicured Brow that’s perfect for elves, Goths, vampires and drag queens

The brows include displacement maps for extra realism.

The brows can also be applied in Poser via render nodes without displacement, but presets for this are not included. The Layered Image Editor is not needed to use this.

    Product Features
    • 15 high resolution .png brow texture maps
    • Displacement maps
    • Presets to apply displacement base and all options
    • Fully compatible with DS2 and DS3

    Not to my knowledge.

First 2 sentences from the forum archive page:

To thank everyone for supporting my 1-Click Face Hair product, and to make the beards even easier to use, I've created a free set of 1-Click Brows for your rendering pleasure. You do not need to own the Face Hair to use them but you do need a browless texture for your character.

I have some eyebrows in Gimp that I have used.

I just tried this with someone elses brow transmap and it works. BUT if you use an expression morph like Angry, prt of it disappears.
