Mimic Pro with Genesis

When I try to use Mimic Pro with Genesis, I get the following error message upon selecting the genesis.cr2 file:

Cannot find the node "figure" in the CR2 file.

If I use the basic male or basic female, it avoids that error, but the pz2 exported from Mimic apparently doesn't capture any data.

Anyone know how to work around this?

I thought I'd used Mimic Pro with Genesis this way - but not positive.

I can use Carrara's lip synch on genesis, but I'm not usually thrilled with my results there.

Thanks for any help.

I had to export a cr2 myself to do it.
    Used Poser 2012

Do you know what version of Poser you need?

I have Poser Pro 2010 (which keeps crashing - but can hopefully reinstall on new system with better results)

And how do you export a cr2 from poser? Would I just load Genesis into a scene and there's an export cr2 function under file or edit?

    Thanks

I import it using dimension 3D's DSON importer script but if you can do it the Daz way it still should work
(I never got Daz DSON way to work)
re-save as new figure in your content library with another name such as Mimic ready
    use that cr2 in mimic
created pz2 file will work on all

Got an error while trying to export and daz froze up.

Can you (or anyone) explain the specific steps to take in DAZ Studio 4.6 Pro
to export a new MimicReady cr2 file for genesis?

    Thanks
