Adventurer for Genesis - compatible with Bold textures?

I bought the Adventurer for Genesis and Bold textures in one of the big sales last month, and just got round to installing them.
Can anyone confirm that, as I'm sure we were told at the time, the Bold textures aren't limited to only working with Adventurer for Genesis 2? I keep getting can't-find-file errors trying to apply Bold textures as it looks for UVMap data in a G2M folder I don't have. Should this be happening? And is the texture going on properly anyway?
I did notice, when I went back and looked, that Adventurer went into the /Genesis/ folder and Bold went into the /G2M/ folder.

The textures should be compatible with both versions. I own both and just loaded one of the Bold shirt textures on to the Genesis 1 Adventurer Shirt.
Now, because I own both, that is probably why I'm not getting any UV errors. But the texture does work on both, just the Material file may not.
I can not check but was told that most of the sets of converted clothing will load textures from both sets as the UVs match. Was in some thread some place about sets for both figures. Like the MFD for Genesis will load the V4 MFD sets and others.
Yes they are compatible however you will get an error warning pointing to a data line, just click through that and the texture will still apply
I am working on getting it updated
OK, thanks. A pity we can't (I think) have conditional statements in a materials .duf so it could load one UV set or the other, that would be a complete solution.
Come to think of it, if the UVs do match, is it necessary to include specifically a "load the G2M UV" section in the Bold textures?
Not sure exactly what you mean. The UV's do match, its that the material settings have a data line that points to the genesis version. Thus when applying to the Genesis 2 version it will throw an error, which is why i will update with new material settings. It's not an issue per say because it does work, its just annoying to have to click through the error.
Other way round — the Bold texture dufs have pointers to the G2M UVs. I have the Genesis1 Adventurer, so I don't have those /data/ folders with the G2M UV files.
I wonder if this is the first time a glitch like this could have cropped up? There have never (AFAIK) been UV settings needed for clothes materials before, and I'm fairly sure the generation-mismatch-but-UVs-the-same situations before now have all been Genesis1 texture sets for the original Genesis1 clothes still being compatible with new G2 clothes variants. Something needing a bit more planning for the future, maybe.
It's not really a glitch. And no until we had different versions of items we didn't have to make 2 sets of material settings but since Plat supports both genesis and genesis 2 at times we have to convert the material settings and add - on packs with them. And again the textures work, if you don't mind clicking through the error message. But we prefer to update so it doesn't annoy our customers :)
