trouble with saved scenes

Im having trouble with saving my files and then opening them to find out my work is not there ... its just an empty scene
its driving me crazy!

    Very strange -- what OS?

    Are they being saved inside DS-format content folders?

    its a mac the lastest version computer

    There is a bug in DS that was reported ages ago but it is never fixed, and that is click in finder to Open wont open the file, just start DS.
    Try File->Open to open your file. If it is empty then, do the following to test:


    Just to be sure, can you create a scene with just something random like a Genesis and a prop in.

    File->Save As->Scene and save it.
    Quit DS
    Start DS
    File->Open and locate it.
