Stonemasons "Modular Ruins" - how to build big scenes?

Hello!
I am using Stonemasons "Modular Ruins" ( http://www.daz3d.com/modular-ruins ) for a while now. I really like it very much because the items are high quality and very good looking.
But I am only able to build really small scenes with it, where I need only 2 or 3 items.
I find it very hard to build bigger scenes, especially when I have to align more items in a row. There are always gaps or overlapping, and it often looks too "tiled".
Has anyone made bigger scenes with the "Modular Ruins" with success and can give me some tips? Or are there any presets available somewhere?
Thanks!

DS does hae an Align pane, though as it is based on the bounding box you may need to make ivy-less versions of some of the parts and then use copy-and-paste to transfer their settings to the versions with ivy. You could also try figuring out the base sizes of the tiles, enter those values in the Tool Settings pane and turn snapping on then use the arrows at the end of the parameter sliders to move the pieces one unit at a time.
All these years of using Daz Studio I always hoped a snapping tool would be added and all the time it has been there...lol I dont know I should ask more I think.
Thanks Richard and Thanks to XoechZ for asking this question.. :)
Steve.
Even more handy for the Greeble Blocks where you need lots and lots of them to get a good effect. :)
Where is the align pane thing? I am in the exact same situation and it is driving me nuts
Vanishing Point has a rather nice product called 'The Ruined City' which is a great mid to background set for use behind Stonemason's ruins... doesn't help with your alignment issues, but will help to give you a much bigger scene in no time flat.
Window > Panes > Align
I use Poser and don't actually own this set but here is a method I use with other modular sets..
Load one prop at the zero position. Load a second prop and carefully position it so the pieces align.
Record the value on the dial.
Multiply that by 2, 3 etc for subsequent pieces.
Optional:
Load 10 pieces and check the last one to see how well it is positioned. If there are gaps or overlaps, adjust the value you are using.
Window > Panes > Align
Thanks a lot!
And how do I find the snapping tool?
Snapping is a part of tool settings pane (window - pane (tabs) - tool settings) where you can activate (by clicking on the button) snapping for translations, rotations and scale and enter values for the increments.
have 1X1, 2X2, 4X4 and 6X6 square layouts that let you dial each square to be any of the blocks. It uses geometry switching and it looks like it will be pretty easy to substitute the square pieces from the ruins. They will probably have to be resized. It will be a while before I try it out but I'll let you know if it works.
