silly HD figure transfer utility question

I love the HD figures but cannot use them in my softwares of choice namely Carrara and iClone
I found with subdivision full on 2 I can export a HD obj
using transfer utility tried rigging it with the original
of course mesh is welded so mouths have vertex pulling etc
wondering if there is an easy way to get it to recognize vertex groups and faces so it transferred exactly, tried every option I can think of in transfer utility, want the mouth morphs etc for speech, other shapes and characters FBM not needed
tried mouth open too
can get him with mouth open not welded but have to do close mouth-100 to get closed pose, is bit dicky
eyes more an issue and tongue

Hi,,, Could not morph loader work for the high resolution figure?
I think, you can export HD morph with mouth open, set sub-D level2 , (in your last pic) as obj too
as same as default HD shape. ,
Then,, You have alerady rigged for high resolution mesh monstar (without sub-D) .
just re-import high resolution( eg mouth-open) obj as the expression morph for the figure
just keep sub-D and mesh resolution level zero.
I do not think TU can transfer weight-map around , tongue or jaw for high resolution obj from gen.
and mesh grouping may easy corrupt.
but manually import morph work well for expression morphs, I think,,:roll:
I did eventually get a rigged mesh I could import into iClone with difficulty
not very satisfactory and extremely as you would guess HGHIPOLY
unfortunately I did not close the mouth on the first of only two frames!
anything bigger and the FBX crashed 3dX5
has visemes blinks and some eyebrow movement but eyes and lids in effect one mesh so could not do too much
it must be big,, then as for me,,if I try to convert for iclone, my pc or iclone may stop easy I believe^^;
I sometimes feel, if use iclone, I need more low polygon eg A3,, ,,do not you think so?
but I love genesis and gen2 weight map,, and detail,, so that I hope daz offer
more easy but flexible animation tool , which have more power than i clone,,
with perfect triax weight. as same as ds,, and easy using morphs,,
,, I can not ,, I can not learn carrara,, ^^; I can not.
I usually use ds, so that when I loaded some genesis scene in carrara ,
I really be disappointed,, ,, though it is great thing for carrara user,, we can load duf now,,
then,, I live in japan,,and japanese, not live in soul ,,,, (because you said so,, I just say true fact,,^^;)

Carrara does not support the Daz HD morphs either but the mesh comes in subdivided not in vertex room but if you render it wireframe you can see.
Genesis IS much lower poly than earlier Daz figures by default

Haha, whould be nice to make your own HD morphs, isn't it. No, forget it. It is DAZ technologie and they won't tell you how they do do it. At least not now. Maybe later. First they have to make money with it by selling their preset HD morphs. MY guess is , they will come up with a comercial plug-in later.
Actually I expect and wait daz release tool or pllug in to make HD morph.
untill it, I do not buy any HD :P
