Question on using ZBrush to make separate morphs for left and right side

Working on a morph to fix a leg bend. I "send to Z" with the left leg bent and got the left side as I like. Now, after all the time it took to get it just right, I would like to flip the mesh to export a MT for the right side. Under Deforms and selecting mirror gives me an error that the geometry has changed. Any and all help appreciated.
Thanks,
Gina.

Do not use mirror. Use smart re-sym located under deformation. Basically you load a default state of the mesh and store MT (located under morph target). Now you import your morphed shape with the modified one side (must also be at default pose), mask that half and smart re-sym, now invert mask and dial up store morph slider. Now the unmasked area (original state of one sided morph) will revert to default state, and the other side will maintain the morph. Then you export that as the right side.

So to clarify you load genesis, export at base rez, then import, and save morph target, then import your modified shape, isolate the morphed side, mask it, smart re-sym, invert masked area and restore default state to un-masked area.

Thank you. It took a little digging around but I was able to find all the tools and get it. I'm sure it takes up a lot of your time to answer so many questions from us beginners so thank you so much!
