Why have Z and Y switched places on my Universal Manipulation Tool?

    Hi...


    The axis' of the manipulator will follow the object that is selected if it is set to use Local or Object coordinates. You can check this in the Tool Settings pane at the top. You can even change this if you like.

    Thank you for your reply. I guessed it might be that, from what I've learned of Hexagon, which permits various settings for the universal manipulation tool. But I don't see how to get to the settings for the universal manipulation tool in the Daz Studio tools menu or on what I guess is the tools pane...

    Yes I noticed that after I posted... :-P One of the great features of DS is the ability to fully change the UI to fit your workspace and workflow. Mine has been heavily re-arranged to fit my laptop and I often forget that some people, including new users may be using the default or simpler layouts.


    I don't mind helping at all when and if I can, everyone starts as a beginner. I only have a year up on you and I'm still learning things I didn't know every day. Some things I'm still trying to figure out... :P
