Hi there,
Are there any products out there that feature wound morphs for genesis figures? (I found some texture packs, but no real morphs...)
Thanks a lot,

I do not know of any for Genesis, but there are at least three sets of morphs for V4 made by Marieah featuring injuries like rotten teeth, swollen eyes, broken noses and such - plus they are freebies at Rendo. Check them if you like as you can transfer Generation 4 morphs to Genesis via Gen-X.

I hope that gets you started somehow.

Some of the stuff in those packs is usable without any conversion, at least on Genesis 1...because they are overlays that rely on the UV set (V4/M4), which Genesis uses with no problem. The 'swellings' are morphs, so they would need to be converted.
I've wondered about the lack of these as well, but unless it's a huge wound, texture overlays tend to be a lot more versatile than morphs, as they can be moved around (and raised or indented quite a bit with bump maps or deformers), whereas morphs will only go in the spot they've been sculpted for. And to be believable, almost any wound morph is still going to need some kind of texture set to make it look convincing. As a result, except for really extreme things like RawArt's Severed Man: http://www.daz3d.com/severed-man, you tend to find wound morphs included as part of character packages rather than as stand-alone items. For example, Stolz by Phoenix has a great facial scar morph http://www.daz3d.com/stolz-for-m4-and-genesis-m5
That said, it does seem like someone like Smay, Sickleyield, Zev or RawArt would take up the challenge. In the meantime, there's always deformers, Hexagon and Pegasus Modeler, plus I've found you can get some fairly reallistic effects using the Poke-away products...

Gibrril asked about morphs, not textures. That's why a conversion is likely to be needed. M4 and V4 textures work natively on Genesis, whereas getting new basic shapes for the figure usually adds new UV-maps. But we are talking about morphs.

The teeth are maps, while the injures puffy lip, etc are morphs, in those freebie packs.
Here's a render on Genesis that involves combining a couple of quick dial spins with standard dials and some quickly made overlays for both diffuse and bump/displacement. They are based on the V4 uv/LanaRR texture that comes with DS 4.5/Genesis 1...
Exactly, we've been talking about swollen eyes and such, which are morphs, not a layer of some type. Technically, one could try to use some alien morphs to make swoles, but I guess it would be a matter of trials and errors.
The eye and lip are a combination of standard posing morphs and displacement overlay...
The lip is bottom left out, top left down and a little bit of frown, with a 'bump' overlay...the eye is pretty much the same thing...
These are the two overlays that I used...pretty simple to add them in the LIE...just use an image editor, open your face texture, add a transparent layer and paint on it...then save that layer as PNG preserving the transparency. Then in the LIE (click on the arrow next to the diffuse texture...in the Surface pane) and choose Layered Image Editor...
No, it's not a 'one click' solution, but it can be very effective, especially to enhance existing morphs...
RawArt has a set of quite horrible wounds for Genesis: Severed Man . Which, btw. I would love to see for Genesis 2, too :D
For V4, there's some stuff on Renderotica from Henrika.
But really, for now, I think the best way to go for any sort of wound is probably a mixture of Dformers, trans maps and postwork (or texture editing).
I think Raw WooDoo would be more appropriate if you want the figure to survive :P: http://www.daz3d.com/raw-voodoo.
EDIT:
I found a scar morph for M4 (you could convert it via GenX): http://www.most-digital-creations.com/free_poser_poses_textures_morphs_props_38.htm (the 8th item counting down).
