Confusion with wardrobe ... what fits M6, what doesn't ?

I'm trying to get some of my Genesis clothing transferred to the Genesis2 (M6 HD) and am not really successful with it ... tried the SuperSuit, which has huge problems (even after adding the Mesh Smoothing modifier) ... the head just isn't right and even the rest of the body does not fit ...
When I loaded it up, it asked me (transfer utility), what figure this was made for and what type of wardrobe it is ...
Am I doing something wrong, or do the Genesis clothing items just not fit ?
Cheers,
AC
BTW ... I did buy the Hero Suit for G2 and really like that, but I'd hate to have to forego all my other stuff, when I use G2.

There is a page here that explains what content is compatible with M6 (and other figures). Clothing made for Genesis will Autofit to M6 (or you can use the transfer utility), but results may not be perfect, since Genesis and Genesis 2 Male are not the same figure.
Fortunately, with the Supersuit, after fitting it to M6, you can adjust the morphs (thickness) of each individual part of the suit in order to eliminate pokethrough. I haven't tried the Supersuit on M6 yet myself, but I expect that it should be possible to get a really good fit. I've seen excellent results from using the suit on Genesis 2 Females.
I'd probably back the smoothing off to default levels, maybe up the collisions a tiny bit and add a hint of a push modifier (something like 0.01 to 0.07 on the push). The push modifier is like 'smoothing with an offset' and is accessible through the Edit options...it loads at a value of 1 (I think), which in DS terms is a 1 cm offset, so unless you are working on a 'Stay Puft Marshmallow guy' that's way too much...
I'll try that ... although, I am not sure that that will help with the headgear, which sits about 5 inches too low ...
Thanks for your help & input !
Cheers,
Andreas
