i just got home and purchased a few items. the receipt came through but when i pull up the DIM and attempt to download the items the downloads keep failing. Not one or 2 items but all of them. Plus their is no delay as if it were attempting to download the items at all. I've been trying for the past hour

The purchase I just did downloaded and installed fine. What were the items?
this is the purchase list
Stupid question, but have you tried restarting DIM at all?
Not a stupid question, but i have restarted and reinstalled it. its actually quite frustrating.
Ok, next idea. You don't have the 'Work Offline' option on the login box checked, do you (not sure if that would cause this, but hey, worth a shot)?
With working offline the "Ready to Download" tab should not be accessible.
Where is DIM trying to store the downloads.
I have my download directory on an external NAS and the DIM keeps forgetting, so I have to re-map the directory to allow the DIM to see the download area.
By nas I'm assuming it's connected via your router. I haven't attempted to download to my networked external at all, so I'm not sure if that would have something to do with it. Try downloading to a local location and see if it works. The default is C:\Users\Public\Documents\My DAZ 3D Library
No work offline is not selected. And as for download location i never touched it. its set at the default location because this is a laptop.
side note its now been 8 hours and still can't download the items have purchased.
To check your laptop security...
I would check the settings in DIM for where it is trying to cache the installers, then using Windows Explorer, verify that folder exists. Also try to copy something in to it to make sure permissions didn't get messed up somehow.
To check access to DAZ...
Go to your DAZ Account page, click on the Product Library, find one of the products you're trying to download, and see if you can manually download the installer (in to the location that DIM is trying to put it).
