How to change the origin of my translate tool to my characters current location?

I loaded a pose from another scene which placed my character at the far side of the room that I was working on.

I noticed that the translation tool for this character is in the center of the room, though the character is on the other side of the room.

How can I get the translation tool to snap to my characters current location?

In DS4.6 you can use the joint editor to move the center points of individual x,y,z positions or key them a value of "0" but I've seen where doing that does not exactly center anything.
Prior to 4.6 there was the Move Origin script from Delta X1 which there may be a link in the old forums but I'm having odd internet issues here in the South since Super Storm Leon dropped nearly an inch of snow on us.

Reset the translate dials on the Hip. The Hip translate dials should be used to move the character only slightly as needed for the pose.

Some POSES not ALL can have Translation turned off at OPEN. Hold down the CTRL key when you load the pose. IF the menu opens Turn Tranlate X,Y,Z off for the pose. That will only Stop the MOVE and not change the pose once loaded. As Noted it only works on Some Poses but I keep forgetting which.

This Also leaves the TOOL in the proper place.

Click on Joint Editor then look for a small green version of the universal tool on the model. Position this to where you want the new origin point to be and then exit the joint editor. Et voila, the universal manipulator now appears wherever you placed the origin.

Every answer correct for each case.

but , if need to keep current positoin, where you applied preset,
I prefer simply select hip node, then translate character by hip is reasonable way for me.
I may not change node positon. without need to change pivot point.

The worst poze preset include root node "zero positon"
then change character start point which user decide. if I work in upstair,
apply sitting Actor fly to zero positon. to prevent problem, everytime need to use Ctrl key
    and set option.

I think, root node position, should not be saved as pose preset, without vendor set character there.
(Though it is useful, in big buitlding, to set Actor start positon, as same as camera position,
but where is start positon should be decided by user.
