The end has come

edited December 1969 in The Commons

my PC membership ends today after being a member from the begining,

the reason I'm leaving I'm disapointed with DSON & I currently cant use dazstudio on my current computer

as there is no benefit anymore for being a long time member and joining fresh I might be back later

But the really silly things going on is daz keep trying to auto renew with an outdated credit card.

I have never auto renewed EVER.

I have sent messages, but no reply, . anyone from daz reading this

I'm reading this. We'd love to do whatever we can to get you to stay.

Why can't you use Studio on your current system?

You tell me and win a prize.

for some reason when I tried using Dazstudio some functions just wouldn't work, but thats not all the libraries of both my poser 7 & poser 9 would lock up. I remove dazstudio and no problems

I have tried downloading and installing multiple times , same problem each time

I can only asume its my current computer

and as I said these days there's no real incentive for long term users to stay on PC
so unless there's a massive discount offered for renewing I'm afraid I wont be coming back to it until I can really use Genesis

Throw your PC away, buy a decent Mac, and everything will be fine :cheese: No joke: I had lots of problems using DS with my old PC, and none after I changed to Mac. But as the vast majority here is running DS on PCs without any issues, I am afraid that my problems were home-made... ;-) So I would recommend to check this.

Strange. Daz Studio shouldn't have an effect on Poser installations at all. I'm still using my copy of Poser Pro 2010 without any issues (mostly for the cloth room now, as I'm a full-time DS convert). It might be an idea to check the logs to see if any error messages were displayed. Maybe someone will know what the probable causes are.
