You can get a lot of such tails from one of stock providers on DA. It is free - or was when I downloaded it. It is a picture, not a model. This image is from "Water World" 2D pack from Rendo.

I found the Water World Thingie with your hint, cecilia, really cool stuff in there :)
It's here if somebody else wants to know.

I've been looking through the Stuff in the Daz-Store too, but it seems I missed a few extensions, that you linked, chohole. The merchants here really are full of ideas :)

Also, a free mertail for Genesis showed up on ShareCG. It is here: http://www.sharecg.com/v/70438/browse/21/DAZ-Studio/Genesis-Mermaid-For-DS-4.5-and-Up. I didn't post a direct link to Water World, sorry, I wasn't sure if linking to a "competing" product wouldn't violate the TOU a bit. Anyway, the mertail linked above is rather good I think, especially for a freebie. I think Devil-Lived did a perfect job and a lot of extensions ought to show up.
