Always darkest before the Dawn - AKA Dawn from Poser = No, Need DUF

Recently upgraded to Poser 11.  Get a bunch of content with it. 

The Dawn figure that comes with Poser is not doing so well in Carrara.

    The poser version doesn’t work, you need the duf version which works fine wink

    ummm... Poser comes with the poser dawn not the DS dawn

    you need the DS dawn for Carrara which doesn't come with Poser ...

    I don't suppose I can get the DUF file if I have the Poser version.

    There are several other figures that are new to me that come with the upgrade to Poser 11.  

    The Raffael figure that comes with poser seems to bend reasonably well in Carrara.

    I don't know... if you visit the HW3D forums you could pose the question .. I only have the original release as it was free at the time when first released.

    as you can see I don't have any clothes for her... I still use G and G2 F laugh

    I bought Dusk and Dawn the special editions and all their morphs etc long ago and of course that included the duf versions, this is a bonus content package for Poser so just what works there. HW3D sells the DAZ studio versions.

    can you import the poser vserion to ds and save as a duf figure?

    guessing would lose poser wm

    does poser still use those joint capsules?

    'Sure! If Daz 3D would like to include Dawn, Dusk, Baby Luna, the HiveWire Horse and the Gorilla in their Daz Studio software, I'm sure we could work out a deal.'

    so I'd take that as DS users have to purchase her/him whilst Poser users get them for free. wink

    I like HW.... but the site moves sooooo slowly for me that it takes ages to buy anything.  But time for a visit... I love their bird collections. And animals.

    BTW... what is that deer creature you have in your image?  I like the antlers.

    thanks, the deer and antlers set is from HW3D.. agree on the slowness, they make snails look like souped up hot rods most times... lots of talk about what's in the works which are excellent but no action which is a shame.  frown
