Weird deformation to clothing and hair when reopening a saved scene - HELP!

Hi all, I have a simple scene with Olympia posed and wearing the V6 String Bikini in it. When I save the scene and reopen it, The bikini is all deformed like when autofit makes a hash of certain conversions, you can also see it doing the same thing to the hair - any idea why?! See pics attached.
EDIT: I'm using latest stable version, 4.6.1.39.

I've never had this happen with the V6 string bikini (which I've used a lot) but I do have a similar problem with boots, which are shredded when the scene is restored. I'll be interested to see what the other guys come up with in response to your thread.
I think some people who have run into this have found that fitting the clothes to None and then back to the figure they should be on fixes it. The issue seems to be fairly rare so if you could submit a bug report it may help the developers to deal with it.
I did try that and didn't work. I'll log it as a bug report but if anyone has a workaround in meantime it would be greatly appreciated! I'm on a mac as well.
Anybody else have thoughts/workarounds/solution to this?!
I have just tried it with the same pose and clothes and got the same problem. It also seems to happen with other clothes and poses.
After further examination, I noticed that some additional hidden morphs were applied to the clothing when reloading the scene (only happens after closing DAZ Studio though). You can see them if you enable "Show Hidden Properties" in the properties tab. If you set them back to 0, the clothes return to their original shape.
This is probably a bug though so there is not much you’ ll be able to do apart from contacting DAZ support and let them know which items/poses are causing the issue :(
The Hidden added morphs have been a issue for me for sometime, the Bad news is that some of the items never fully return to correct even with them all set back to Zero. I have had to scrap some characters due to this.
I found the same thing Jaderail - however, have just downloaded the new General release and its not happening there! Whoop whoop!
I notice a lot of bloating in any V4 clothing I've converted. If I convert over using autofit, all is fine. save scene and exit, then reload, and it bloats. I get the same effect if I load V4 clothing I've previously converted on a blank unmorphed G1 as well. (I'm using 4.6.1.39 not 2.118) Basically, all the content I've saved and converted is scrap.
Edit; Nope...it seems SOME V4 clothing has reloaded nicely, and some does not. I loaded a character saved with several sets of clothing saved (easier to swap that way if I want to change things up a bit between one of several predefined sets). Some of the clothing fits well on reload, and other stuff bloats, some seems to bloat worse than others.
Ummm...you've 'stacked' the clothing on the figure, after converting it...but did you save the clothing as an ASSET (not a scene/scene subset...but prop/figure/whatever)? And then reload it on the character, from the saved asset?
I've tried both to the same results. What I've noticed is some things behave worse than others. Orion1167's Race Queen top loads with some bloat, and that gets worse on older saved G1 characters. On a newly created character it loads with some bloat, but not as bad, even on reloading that scene. I tried a different saved asset from 3D-age that I did last May, and it loads fine on both old and new genesis characters. Is there a property in some clothing and not in others that might be magnifying morphs? And if so, why make it worse on older saved characters (going back to last year)?
Edit: Same results with the new version of DS Pro.
Edit Again: Went through all the saved assets I had, some load fine on both characters, some have bloat that gets worse on the older of the two. I notice this with all of Out of Touch's V4 stuff, Orions, and Powerage. Slide3D, 3D Age as well as older A3 stuff behave fine with no bloat at all.
Since my original post on this thread, I've had some problems with the panty on this outfit. It wrinkled when I changed a pose and then saved the figure (as a scene subset). One other factor that may be relevant is that I was applying it to a heavily morphed V6, with the glutes and hips dialed up to 1. Deleting the panty and then re-applying it onto the new pose seemed to solve the problem.
Cheers,
Alex.
This is for V4 Clothes on Genesis, But May work for You.
SOLVED
There you go, its sort of a lengthy process but it gets the job done.
this phenomenon is only with the beta version?
the general release is safe?
