Hi, since I purchased these two products, I've not been able to install them on my Pc with the latest Daz Version
Has anyone been able to install these products successful?
I've tried using both manager installer and manual but no luck.
The manual installation-download seems to take ages and very huge files.

Any help will be appreciated.

Regards

The files are very large to download. I have been able to install them without a problem using the install manager.
Are you getting the full download or does the connection fail?

I just checked my product library (accessible using your profile page) and these packs are huge. They consist of two parts. Pack one has 2 files which are 1.16Gb and 895Mb. Pack two is a little smaller; 1.13Gb and 863Mb. Either way; these packs are huge.

My advice would be to try using the installation manager, and if that doesn't work use a modern browser (like Firefox for example) which can provide a download manager. That way you should be able to grab the packs manually (the download manager should be able to resume a download if it stalls). Though you'd get the best results when using the installation manager of course.

Funny you should ask; I've been experimenting with the Yosemite pack this afternoon, let me show you. It's not very special; I know the lighting in this render isn't well done, but that's because this was merely a quick experiment. Even so; it does give you a good preview of the scenery you can make using these packs.

Thanks for your guidance, I sorted it out as you suggested!

The way I see the set so far, It will need a bit of adjusting the light to a descent level.
Also another issue, is the ground, it looks funny when characters float and can't touch the ground. Otherwise, its a good product.

One thing you can do is rotate the HDR environment; the sun is entering from one direction and you can rotate the whole thing to find the right direction.

Or rotate the figure and move your camera, the default load is not a fixed here only place. As for the Ground plane it will render in properly with shadows, it just looks odd during scene setup.

You can make a plane for posing then delete it before rendering.

I've been having a BLAST with Yosemite packs one and two. AMAZING!

In this picture, at one point the car was 'floating' as you describe and I selected 'Drop Figure to Floor' (in Poser Pro 2012) and that fixed it. I adjusted it downward (Y Axis) just a smidge more to make the tires look like they are bearing some weight and VOILA! The only postwork on this image was adding a little bloom and glint on the shiniest of spots as well as my signature. In one test render I noticed a black ground plane (a "shadow catcher", I believe) that does not show up in the higher quality render settings. And yes, I rotated car and skydome a few times to find an optimal lighting. I'm just getting started with DAZ, but have been using Poser for a while now. I love Dreamlight's Light Dome Pro-R and it is what finally got me to spend some quality time with DAZ. These light domes and HDRI scenes just blow my mind!

In this image: DzFire's Maximum Madness vehicle with Maximum Destruction textures (with some additional texture work by me).
