Hi yas!
I am looking for coins. Individual coins, piles of coins and stacks of coins for A3 and H3 to use. Is there anything like that about? And it's the stacks and piles I am especially looking for.

For stacks and piles you could use geometry instancing, or if you've got Send in the Clones, just clone a ton of them and easily set them in the options to stack.

For modern currency, 2nd world has a fantastic set over at Rendo called Everyday items: Money.
For old school coinage, LukeA has a wide variety in his Pirate Captain's Galley & Treasure set

Some generic gold coins like that would be ideal. :D
Some stacks in my previous render exceeded 50Mb. so I had to come up with something different.
One stack is made of eight coins with no faces. My advice stack them using Create New Node Instance and put one coin with a face on top.
Use a good shader to get that gold look.
A different light set up makes all the difference too.
