Problem with the auto-fit tool

When using the auto-fit tool, the selections "What type of item is it?" is inactive, so that I cannot make any choice any more...
Any suggestions how to fix that?
I already re-installed DS - no change.

    Do you hae any files in \data\DAZ 3D\Genesis\Base\Projection Templates (assuming this is for Genesis) in the folder you installed your content to? Is the Content Management Service running (can you see Smart Content, or folders in Categories or products in the Content Library pane)?
