Hiromi - eyes problem

Just bought Hiromi for A4 during the sale but I'm having a problem with the eyes in Daz Studio, both 4.6.1.17 - 32 (XP) and 4.6.1.39 - 64 (Win 7). There is an Eye Fix pose but that doesn't do anything at all. If I add an eye mat from the Eyes folder the eyes show up, but there's still a problem with some white at the lower eye lids. Is this a bug in the product or what?

Edit: Poser version seem to be OK.

The white on the lower lid is the Tear material. Just hide that zone and you'll be fine.

Hm, can't find any options for hiding it. I've tried to set Opacity to 000 (black) but that doesn't help. I've noticed that the shader for Tear is "Caustic Glass 2" - all the other materials are either "omHumanSurface" or DAZ Studio Default". Is that normal?

In any case, there must be something wrong with the product if you have to hide the Tear material, right?

Can't say I've seen that before. Change the tear to Daz Studio Default shader and try these settings:

    Diffuse: black 100%
    Gloss: 65%
    Spec: White 50%
    Ambient: Black 0%
    Opacity: 0%
    Reflection Color: a light greyish
    Reflection Strength: 5-7% or so
    Refraction Color: White
    Lighting Model: Glossy (Plastic)

    That fixed it. Thanks!

I checked out the Docs page btw, it says:

"Resolved Issues: 2014-01-07 - Fixed issue with DSA's not applying to the eyes"

Apparently they didn't get it right though, it seems. Think I'll file a bug report.
