Problem Exporting / Importing an .obj file from 3dsmax to Daz (WITH PICTURES)

SOLVED NOW - Was a stupid problem with the opacity slider defaulting to 0% for some reason! Didn't notice it myself - what a dummy.

----------------------

I'm a beginner with DAZ, and I'm having a problem importing .obj files.

I import the file, but no texture data seems to come with it - the object is invisible within DAZ.

I hope the pictures explain everything, I tried to be as clear as possible.

If anyone could give any suggestions that would be great. Even on different file types that may work better in transferring an object from 3dsmax to DAZ. There must be other people here who work with both programs - what's your protocol for transferring between them, and how does it differ from what I am doing?

Thanks a lot.

Opacity Strength is set to 0%, change to 100%.

For some reason, the Opacity Strength is at 0%...turn that to 100% and the problem will be solved. At least on the item in DS. You need to look at your material settings in Max, because something there is causing the Opacity to be set to 0%.

I've done it too...sent something from Blender with transparency and wasn't able to see it in DS...and this was just last week. So don't feel bad...
