Won't load older files... and where is the file log?

I recently upgraded to Daz 4.6 and now it won't open any of my old "scene" files. It tells me that I need to see the file log but I can't find that. What do I need to do?

    In DS 4.6...Help > Troubleshooting > View Log File...

    How did you install 4.6?

    Did you remove your old content directories? Is 4.6 pointing to your old content if you didn't remove them?

    Log file can be viewed using Help > Troubleshooting > View Log File

    If DS is complaining about missing files from the 'data' folder, then you would need to find the data folder that was used when the scenes were saved.

    Thank you for the information on where to find the file log. I used the downloader to update my old Daz. I didn't remove ANYTHING. The files are showing up as Daz scenes, but I get a loading error after it reads it.

    Okay, now what do I look for in the log file to find out where the problem is?

    Basically, what I would do is try to load one of the 'bad' scenes, with the log open and then when it errors out refresh the log. The part that you need should be the very end.

    The log is generated as a document and won't stay open. However I tried to open one of the files and then views the log. At the very end I kept getting the following message repeated over and over:
    WARNING: Object::disconnect: No such signal QObject::currentValueChanged() in properties\controllers\dzerclink.cpp:1150
    WARNING: Object::disconnect: (sender name: 'Value')
    (Not sure which line goes on the top, but it's these two lines repeated over and over)

    To get a 'clean' log file select all text and backspace to delete than save. Now try the scene than check the log.
