So where do they go? for content I mean. In daz 3 they used to go in the regular runtime folder in daz3/mydocuments. Where do they go now please for it to work in daz4? thanks.

There is a Runtime in the Default My Library folder or the DIM made My DAZ 3D Library either one. Only the Name chaged not how they work or are used.

This new way to install daz content is killing me!
these last two weeks, I have bought 3 items for genesis (2 purchases), I had no idea things were that way, since my last purchase was in 2012, and was for item M4, and wore the installer .. .
I installed the dim , and manually ... etc, and nothing, when I load the item at daz appears the message: can not find the file dsf
    Why complicate things?

Where are you installing to, and what are your content directories? As a long time user of DS it's likely that the My DAZ 3d Library in the Public Documents folder isn't set up as a content directory in DS, but it is the default for DIM. The Data and Runtime folders must be directly in a content directory, such as \My DAZ 3D Library or \DAZ 3D\Studio\My Library in the Documents folder, not in a subfolder.

Well, I installed it on all my folders daz content (logical, I could install in just one, but what is not working in any, I installed another, and another ...)
in any of these places where they are installed, when I try to load it in daz, then, is said not find the dsf file (although the file dsf her this, folder)

Look at the top left of the last screenshot - the only folders you have selected as content directories are daz3d (lower case and no space, not the DAZ 3D folder from your second screenshot) and Documents. Right-click on DAZ Studio Formats in the Content Library pane and select Add Base Directory, then select the Docuemntos Publicos\My DAZ 3d Library folder. Where are the fodlers thata re already showing in the Content Library pane?

Hi, Ooops wait there! Is that my problem is because I had a ton of folders content, added?
Because now occurred to me to remove all content directories, the Content Library pane and leave only the "DAZ 3D MY LIBRARY", THEN NOW THEY ARE CHARGING, PERFECTLY folder.
Well, thank you very much for your attention, now I can go from here.

The best way for users that do not fully understand the folders is to ONLY use one folder. To use the DIM to install to that one folder with DIM set to only the version of DAZ Studio you use and to set that ONE folder in the DAZ Studio paths as both DAZ Studio formats and Poser Formats paths. That will always work. One folder, installed by DIM and set to both formats...
