G2F /G2M question

So i just bought a v6 bundle cause it was on a good sale yesterday, I have yet to buy M6 or a bundle but when I started playing around with the G2 female and I noticed that there are no male morphs for her... and I know some people ar all "duh its a woman" but one of the things I really like about the G1 doll was the ability to mix and match. like one thing the G2 female lacks is the ability to control Pec volume which I like using for female warriors (sorry not one of those peoples who think a 90lb woman with D cups is the best looking warrior ever). So my question now becomes if I buy M6 do his morphs get added to both the G2 male and female or just the Male?

Genesis 2 goes back to the gender split. You have the Genesis 2 Female(s) of which the Genesis 2 Female is the base and the Gen 6 females are morph sets of the Genesis 2 Female. By default the G2F uses the V5 mapping but each of the Gen 6 morphs also have their own uvs the same as the Gen 5's did. Genesis 2 Male(s) is the male base and the Gen 6 males are morph sets of it. By default, it uses the M5 mapping but do have their own mapping as well.

I believe there is an androgynous morph for the G2F female and probably one for the male. It may be a part of the head and body morphs for the G2F and G2M. I don't do much with them right now so I don't remember.

AFAIK, there are no built in male morphs in G2F or female morphs in G2M. If you want younger figures, take a look at ZevO's Growing up sets.

its not really about younger characters more that at leas IMHO the single doll made it easier to make kind of out there characters... though I have noticed that all the G1 female morphs kinda had this same shaped face in some way that was hard to get rid of and I think there is less of that issue in G2F so in that way it is better I just thought G1 was more fun with the ability to like slide some freak in to aiko or what ever as well :P but as a man who likes his options i guess at the very least having the gen 5 and gen 6 all in all does give me more options, though I suspect that the Genesis 1 and Genesis 2 people can't use each others clothing

You are correct that Genesis 2 figures sacrifice the versatility of Genesis 1 for some minor improvements (mostly bending and additional areas like having an upper and lower jaw, but also for PAs who prefer a gender split). It's also annoying that G2F/G2M do not have even basic morphs built in and you have to purchase the evolution morphs (instead of the evo morphs simply expanding what you can do).

However, you can have G2F/G2M can wear G1 clothes through autofitting Genesis clothes out of the box. On the other hand, Genesis can use both clothing sets if you have Sickleyield's G2F and G2M clones for Genesis.

On that note, if you've already invested in Genesis 1, you can keep doing that, too. Genesis 2 figures look nice, but are not huge improvements (by comparison to M4/V4 and such) and do not make G1 obsolete, especially when it comes to creature/monsters.

yeah i do have auto fit and have discovered this fact lol, and that does help a lot so at least I don't feel like I am wasting money one way or the other, I like having as many choices as I can (granted if they can be on one character its cheaper) so in the end I guess its not so bad since I don't have to worry too much about buying a bunch of new clothing
