Why Is Genesis Walking On His Heels

I am working on some animation tests and I animated Genesis walking forward, but see a very strange result. The character is walking on his heels. The very first frame of the animation has the character standing on his heels and the feet pointing up. Why does it do this?

In the image here, you can see the right foot on the heel as the left foot is in the process of stepping. The right foot should be flat on the ground here. IN fact, at no point during the entire walk cycle are the feet ever flat on the ground.

Because you are using an animation block that was made for 4th generation figures...there are several ways to correct it.

    Look at this thread...

Wow, that is a bunch of hoops to go through to fix it. And it looks like it isn't doable for aniMate Lite, which is all I have. Are there only preset animations for non-Genesis characters? Or are there walk cycles and other animations for Genesis that I am not aware of?

Go Figure posted a link for a Genesis foot adjust aniBlock in this post:

SKAmotion does some for Genesis and Genesis 2 Female:

ReallusionAnimation, too, but currently only dancing motions:

You could also try to use this one here for 4th Gen motions:
    http://www.sharecg.com/v/67223/view/21/DAZ-Studio/Genesis-Pose-Adjust-aniBlock
It additionally corrects some differences in collar, arm and thigh zero positions on 4th Generation motions used on Genesis.
