Hello, I've just got "Dream Home: Yard and Pool" but I can't find the water for the pool, the pool is empty.....furthermore Dream Home has 3 files to install in the product library:
Dream Home Yard and Pool Ps
Dream Home Yard and Pool Legacy
Dream Home Yard and Pool DS

But I found on 2 in the Install Manager
Dream Home Yard and Pool Ps
Dream Home Yard and Pool DS

I can download the legacy from the site but I get a folder and I don't know how to use it! And I think the water textures is there!
I'm a bit confused!

Thanks!

You only need the legacy if your going to use DS3. Your water is in the pool but it defaults to POSER materials at load, you must apply the proper DAZ Studio texture to the items once they are loaded. This is a older set and not designed to auto load in DAZ Studio format. It loads in Poser format and you then need to go add the proper textures by selecting the item and then double clicking the DS texture icons.

Ok, I got you about the legacy and ok, I select the item but where is the texture you say? I thought it was in the materials but there isn’t, as you can see….Thanks again!

Its part of YR_Main. You Need good lighting and render settings before the water looks better than just a Veiwport view. I often just put a different water shader on it myself.

Ok, I see, I tried to render and saw a little water, it's like you say, I have to work on the lights, but what you mean you put a different water shader on it? As you can see I'm a real new user!

They sale some Shaders here that can change how things look in your renders. I have a large collection of them. You can edit most tings in 3D art or use new textures if they were made for the item also. But those are things you will learn as you go.
This item has 3 shaders to change the way waters look http://www.daz3d.com/rigged-water and other sets exist as well.

I'm off for the Night now. I hope you have fun rendering. And just keep asking questions, the people here are great at helping others.

Hello, I just wanted to let you know I managed how to see my water!
I adjusted the lights and I’ve been in the editor of the surfaces, then I selected the pool water and increased the opacity strength!
... here is the pic :)
    thanks again!
