Saved morph asset incorrectly?

HI all,

I created a morph for a shirt and created the dial correctly and saved it as a morph asset. The guide I was following suggests that this should be sufficient for my morph to be loaded by the shirt. However, when I make a new instance of that shirt, my morph is not an option. I go to the /data/ folder containing my morphs for it and my DSON support file is there.

What am I missing?

    Where are you looking for it...under Shaping or Parameters?

    Also, it may not be exactly where you are expecting it to be, if you weren't careful with things like author info and what not, when saving it out...it could be under a different section, so use All on the Parameters to see if you can find it there...also toggle Hidden on/off and see if it shows up. It could also be that the morph is on a specific node...like Neck, Chest, etc instead of the 'base'...

    I've looked in Parameters / All, Shaping / All, Posing / All and in Posing / Editor. I've also tried showing hidden properties, which revealed the other morphs that the shirt has, but mine is still nowhere to be found.

    Did you go through all of those node by node?

    Did you Apply the Morph and SAVE as a support asset for the Item? If not you only saved the morph and not the injected version.

    I saved it as a morph asset, which created a DSON Support file. It's for 3D Universe's Cutaway Shirt. The full path of it's location is:

    ::\DAZ Content\data\3D Universe\Charlize\Cutaway Shirt\Morphs\MainUser\Cutaway Shirt Closer\Cutaway_shirt_Closer.dsf"

    Is there a way to manually apply the dsf file to the shirt?

    Yeah...but it requires Blender...and millighost's Blender import scripts.

    But if it's just the morph and the 'morph'...the changed geometry instead of the actual controls and everything. Removing it to a folder outside of the DS structure and restarting DS without it, should 'clear' it from DS. Then stopping DS, placing it back and restarting should give you the chance to save it all over, as if you just brought it in...(renaming can work, too...but I've found the shifting and restarting to be more reliable).

    Is that my only option? :(
