poke through of genesis dress on genesis 2

I wondered if I could get some suggestions?
The figure is genesis 2. the dress is for genesis. Mostly it worked for the neutral standing pose until i did this pose below. then the hose / hip poked through. I tried decreasing the hip size and increasing the dress size but it didn't work for the hip area.

any suggestions on how this could work better in the future? Gen X ? or some modifying you can suggest?
Thanks a lot.

I did an autofit of the skirt to the hose which worked .... but then the arms went off.

Don't autofit to the hose...because the hose ARE NOT a complete figure, they won't have the arms, chest etc...so the only parts that will be fitted ARE the lower body parts.

Instead, make sure that the dress has a smoothing modifier and that it is turned on. Then if you need to/if the skirt is separate, switch the collision item to the hose.

Also, since Genesis1 also comes with the latest DS version, check that the dress fits it in that pose. It could be that the pose is beyond what the dress can handle, on its own.

Before I go to bed my friend here is what I did.

Before I read you post, and thank you , what I did is I selected the dress and by accident I decided to reduce the opacity . When i had the opacity at 99.9%. all of the poke throughs dissapeared. See the pic. Not bad. I dont know why when the opacity was 100% the poke throughs suddenly came back?

Then after I read your post I did select the dress and made collision item as the Genesis 2 female. Making the hose as the collison item didn't work. then i cranked up the iterations and after my processor worked for a while i also got a great result.

    make me go hmmmmmmmmmm..

so thank you . and good night.!

Opacity should be at 100% unless you want it to be transparent. To fix the pokethru you will need to play with the smoothing settings in the parameter tab. I personally prefer to have the hidden settings showing as that will allow me to play with the weight settings. I don't use G2F so can't test the settings myself so I can give you a more definitive answer.

Try altering the smoothing type to generic if it is on autofollow. Also play with the collision settings and the smoothing. Be very subtle with the weight settings I wouldn't go past .75
