TritiumCG Freebie Thread
I release freebies fairly regularly on Deviantart, mainly celebrity and game character morphs, so I figured I'd make a thread here for those who haven't seen me on the Celebrity-look-a-like thread. Sadly DA now requires an account to download files, but it is free and quick to setup so hopefully that won't discourage you from giving my freebies a try.

Free and commercial renders permitted. Other limitations may apply if the morphs are based on copyrighted content (i.e. game characters).
Keep in mind the rest of my account does contain some NSFW artwork, so discretion is advised
I'll attach pics of some of my morphs, and I'll try to keep this thread updated when I add new content.

You are very good at capturing the likeness of someone.
Would you consider doing a tutorial on this. I tried a lot and I have lots of reference pictures but I still can't manage.
Especially since the polycount is so low on G8 base mesh.
First of all thanks!
I'm however not sure a close look at my process would really be all that helpful. It is literally only 3 steps. The first is moving the nose, mouth, eyes and ears into the correct location based on the reference pictures using dials in Studio. That way I can mask off the inner mouth, nostrils and eyes in ZBrush and not have to worry about them. Then in ZBrush I do the rough sculpting trying to get as close to the silhouette as possible and then bring that sculpt into Blender for final per vertex adjustment (chin dimples and other little details, making sure the eyelids fit over the eyeballs properly, etc). I use PureRef to always have a window with the reference open over top of what I'm doing, and a bunch of other angled references queued up in XNViewMP that I can quickly tab to.
I find this approach works best for me personally but I do have years of 3D experience, and sculpting pretty faces has been my passion ever since getting into DazStudio. That I have a knack for celebrity likenesses is a relatively new development, but there's no special trick to it, it's just freehand sculpting til I'm satisfied with the likeness.

Just wanted to say that I love your work, but it leaves me a bit sad due to two things...
First the choice of adult models by your customers which mostly is way off my preferences (which is of course nothing You could do anything about
) and second the lack of funds on my side, to commission the models that I would prefer... 
Stay tuned, I'm sure sooner or later I'll create a morph you'll like. I also do raffles occasionally which you should feel free to enter, maybe you'll win a commission. :)

You already made a couple figure morphs I really like. Just the adult movie stars weren't really to my taste... but now there's Samantha Fox and Stoya, who are way closer to my likes ;)
And there's always the chance for either getting in the raffle or someone else sharing my tastes or me being able to stop buying stuff from the DAZ shop to use the money for you instead ^^

You can always use some of the morphs in small quantities and mix and match. Andrea Deck for example could make a nice generic pretty face if mixed and Ellie would work good as a base for a younger character.
Just 0.02 from someone who has zero experience in 3D sculpting. The only one I've tried is Kate Mara since I don't know the othe people or game characters. The morph is very good at capturing the outline of her face but it does not say Kate Mara IMHO. I think the reason is that the morph is missing her two most prominent features: the chin dimple and the nose (the tip and philtrum?).
It's still a very pretty and unique face though and thank you for sharing them.
I tried so hard to get Kate's nose right, I really did. I literally spent hours. It's hard to admit defeat but at some point I just had to call it (I want to blame it on a lack of geometry in G8F's face, but that may just be an excuse for my lack of skill). :,( All I can hope is it'll serve as a good base to start from or at least as another pretty face for the genepool.

I imagine those unique features are the most diffcult for 3D artists because they need to walk a very fine line between generic and uncanny valley. I so very much want to purchae Sangriart's Audrey character but her attempt at capturing that inconic look, which includes the nose a bit similar to Kata Mara's, somehow just toches the uncanny valley for me. A shame since I am a huge Audrey Hepburn fan and Sangriart's characters are the best at capturing famous looks I've seen using consumer market models. Your Kate Mara on the other hand stays too much in the generic territory, IMHO.

You can of course always mix-n-match them however you want, there's no rule that says you have to use them for who they're supposed to be depicting (I think Cammy's and Nyotengu's head dialed in a small amount might add just a little anime flavor for example). :)
