temp hotkey (ctrl+win for example or shit+Lalt) to orbit the camera around the currently sleected object would be good to check how certain modifiers look from around

You mean to teemporarily override the focal point, and have it revert back to the original when you release the keys? Sounds useful, though the limited number of modifiers is a problem (I'm hoping that the move to Qt5 or whatever will make it practical for Daz to allow the use of standard alphanumeric keys as modifiers).
