For the past couple of days I've been getting this in posts: (JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)
I haven't changed any settings. Running IE, Windows 7, 32-bit.

That happens every time someone tries to post an email address.
Now don't ask me why it does it, because I don't know, but that is why it happens
like this [email protected]
even fake ones? wendy♥[email protected] no THAT worked, what about no unicode ♥?
[email protected] yes!!! it did it!!!
I can read it if I hit quote!
Yes, that is one of the stupid things about it.
I just noticed I'm in the same boat. And my Java is enabled.
the @ symbol must do it!

Non of us can figure out why it does it but the way we get around it is by putting a space before @ and after. You then have to specify that they need to take those out to email.
Its purpose is probably to hide email addresses from programs that harvest them from web pages. Such programs probably don't do JavaScript, so the addresses remain invisible to them.
This is my guess anyways; I haven't investigated why it isn't working properly.
oh look who decided to stop lurking and make a post!! ;-P
