Human texture heresy

To keep this simple, I load in one of the more popular folks. let us say Michael 5.
The only settings I am concerned with let us say is the face.
I only want to apply diffuse, bump, specular.

I do not want thirty other settings that make him look like a shiny orange.
I have tried turning off Subsurface, etc, but I am still picking up orange glow.

Is there a way to do this and do it for all the other skin parts?
I know this is going "backwards" sometimes less is more.
Thank you

The easiest way to do it would be to start with a basic shader which doesn't support those advanced settings in the first place, such as the Daz Default shader. You can they copy and paste the surface information across. None of the more advanced settings will carry across because the default shader doesn't support them.

Easier is to select all the Texture surfaces. Do a RIGHT Click load of a DS basic shader, when the menu opens select Ignore maps. Then the texture is left on the item and only the shader is replaced. Thus Fully removing all the SSS shader.
