    Ah, hell with it. Here's the rough draft, in case I don't get the chance to finish it up before the month is over.

    Considering it's the horizontal woman that has her mouth open it might be the poor snake that is in trouble?

    I hope you get to finish it @Gordig It looks very promising so far. smiley

    Not sure I would want to sit there when a train passes over. Very well done

    Forget the train… I'd be more worried about the undead a few feet away…!

    Well done, @isidorn. (I think… Makes me want to shout, "Get the [bleep] outta there!")

    Very well done TristanQEverett, very peaceful and relaxing.

    Nicely done L'Adair, congrats on being early.

    That does indeed look cozy TristanQEverett. Interesting fireplace you got there.

    That looks lovely and summery L'Adair. I wouldn't mind some of that. There's been some lost snowflakes in the air here both yesterday and today. And be careful. Before you know it you'll starting posting a month in advance! wink

    @deeleelaw57   Wonderful idea!

    @Sisyphus1977  nice abstract!

    @cismic  Very creative!

    @mori_mann  Beautiful image and great POV!

    @Llola Lane  Great scene with plenty of vertical and horizontal!

    @nattaruk  good find! and very nice image.

    @Gordig  Could be scary, I hope they are friends!

    @isidorn  Beautiful place but after zooming I don't want to go there anymore! Too dangerous! Great lighting and atmo.

    @TristanQEverett  Nice and lovely scene!

    @L'Adair  What a view! But nobody in sight.

    Here is my take on this month theme :

    Visiting Grandpa

    It's always sunny when visiting Grandpa because he is almost blind and needs bright light to see me. (I did this thinking about a dear friend who only see shapes in bright light because of macular degeneration).

  • L'AdairL'Adair Posts: 9,479

    @isidorn, That'll never happen. But I have been known to post an image for one month a day into the next one. (Over at the PFDLives forum. With permission!)

    xmasrose, It's Venice. Italy. Everyone is home, avoiding exposure to COVID-19! (Seriously, I didn't think I had time to add people to the scene, render each separately, as it would otherwise drop to CPU Only, and then composite the layers in Photoshop. I did render the background separately and then put it on a plane in the main scene. Had to add clouds in post, as every cloud product I own wanted to make the clouds black, with the light coming from behind them!)

    Your image is quite poignant. This necessary isolation is hard on us all.

    Excellent work as usual xmasrose. I like the young ladies mask. I thought of going to army surplus for a gas mask, but they were closed.
