Nina parked her latest restoration project next her grandpa's completed truck. He had taught her everything he knew about restoring old vehicles and she had gone on and become a certified mechanic. So when her grandfather's truck broke down, she was thrilled to help him and ducked under the hood of his truck to take a look.

Sorry for the long delay but this being the year 2020 it is fitting my computer give up before the end of the year. Having hard drive issues plus. It took 7 days to get all the parts of this render to stay in place and render in DSL. I have another almost ready for PDF but I don't think it will stay together long enough to render. I even lost internet on this system. Need to move renders transferred via thumb drive to notebook to get them out.

For now all I can say is I hope this gives you a little smile and brightens up your day. New computer ordered should be here by 12/2.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Dang it woman this is my chair. It is comfortable, broken inn and fits in all the right spots. You are not going to have it redone like yours. I let you do that and next you will want to wash all the flavor out of my coffee mug.

Last day of the month gang... DECEMBER = Full & Empty ... Let's see what we can come up with to end the year.

FYI.. I am contemplating not doing a challenge next year... The participation has dwindled... Not sure why.  If you 'old' timers still wanna have a challenge... let me know.  I have an idea... but just don't feel motivated without participants.  Feedback anyone????

Still a few days To go. I ordered my knew computer on Thanksgiving Day for a 12/2 delivery. To my surprise it arrived on Sunday 11/29. I did a clean install of DAZ 4.14 and the latest IM. It took several days to figure out how to put my content on drive D. I may never got it down if I had not found a very good procedure in the forums from L'Adair. Do to my old system HDD crashing I have to load all my content one at a time. I finally got the DAZ content loaded and some day I will finish the rest. For now I am playing and using Iray items only, I have yet to have a render go over 35 minutes.

Sorry Felix, that is all fo the milk until I get to the store later today. Your asking me why your bowl is empty, because you drank all the milk. Why is my cup full, because I did not drink all of the coffee. You want me to share my coffee, you don't drink coffee. You are awful pushy for a stray.

I started on an open/close render earlier today, before remembering that that's not what this month's theme is. I'll see if I can figure out something.

Ok Saph... Thanks for giving me your input... It's just so hard to get motivated if no one participates... I get discouraged.  Then even... I... don't wanna make a render.. lol.  I know a lot of my problem is this older computer.  It doesn't seem old... but I've got sooooooooooo much Daz content now (over 1tb) that it takes forEVER for me to find anything and render it.  A new computer is in my future... I just gotta hang on a little longer... (winks)

Nothing against the Dragon but I hope he does not fill his empty belly as the Vampire has down. A couple of fine pieces of work Gordig and SimonJM.

Llola Lane, Thank you for hosting another year of fun.

I do enjoy this monthly gathering and you have picked up some new artist this year. 2020 has been a strange and a challenging year in many ways and if you feel you need to shut this down I will miss it as I am sure others will also, but, we will all survive. You need to do what feels right for you.

The theme this year was not to difficult finding an opposite but it was a bit difficult in some cases figuring a way to get both in one render.

Yes.. I guess you are right... Maybe I need to keep it simple?  I have a few more days to decide if I'm done with the challenges.  It's hard to get motivated this year... Specially with all that is going on in the world.  I really expected more people to participate since they were home... but maybe not as many where home as I thought.  ;)  I have an idea for next year... Just gotta wonder if it's worth posting it if no one is going to participate.... I'll keep it simple... maybe?  hummmmmmmmmmmmmmm
