Can someone please tell me wtf these eyelashes. They're soooo terrible. Like, so dark. And so long... AND SO GIRLY. And the guy who this is supposed to be; yeah he's got pretty eyelashes but nothing like he's wearing FRIGGIN MASCARA.
I mean I have to edit his face in post work to get rid of his lashes half the time. It's terrible. It's not just on top, it's on bottom too. They're just...ughhh
no. In materials, under eyelash it is 0.00416 amount on bump, but there doesnt' even seem to be a bump map there. Map strength, transperancy, and edge are 100 percent and falloff is 0.900.
Lash length: 0.060
Lash Irregular: 0.112
Lash Topcurl: 0.224
Lash Bottom Curl: 0.148
What do you think I should do? I've tried lowering it with another char but with this skin it's like the lashes are always weird.
Below is a pic of the render, and then the actual dude.
So as you can see, he has long lashes, but not so THICK and VISIBLE and I'm not quite sure how to fix this.
Also please do not judge me about this image this is literally the most common pairing in the universe kthanx

Make a new transmap, which shortens and thins out the lashes, especially at the inner side of the eye. Then don't have them black but dark blond brown to match that hair and no spectaculars.

Also, if you're using Genesis 1 there is an option in the shaping Eyes section to hide some of the upper lashes. But like the previous poster said, creating a shorter transmap and shading the lashes lighter should help. You could also try lowering the opacity a little too

The eyelashes of the right guy are really looking a bit girlish, but my problem with male eyelashes sometimes is just the opposite: Too thin, too short, too pale, all in all making the eyes look horribly 'naked'. Men do have eyelashes, and why not?!

I always use this trick: I take the eyelashes of another Genesis/G2 figure, or choose the texture from the Bree materials, where it comes in three strenghts and lengths. With the Genesis/G2 morphing programs, the rest is a matter of seconds.

Drop the opacity of the lash and change diffuse from solid black to a dark grey to lessen the strength. Combine that with the lash shorten morphs.
