File conversion longshot
Hello,
I've been using Carrara to make figures for 3D printing, exporting .objs which I converted to .stls in another program. I've recently been asked by someone who'd like to use one of my designs in a potential injection-molded medium, but the company he's talking with won't use .stl files. Is there any chance anyone here knows of a cheap/free program that can convert .obj or .stl into one of these formats:
.sldprt
.prt
.igs
.stp
Parasolid (.x_t or .x_b)
ACIS (.sat)
.ipt and .dwg, 3D only
I've tried using Hexagon but it won't save out a .dwg, it just keeps erroring and creating an empty folder. A friend tried saving a .dwg of my file from Rhino but it only saved out a 2D file, not 3D. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Are these figures based on any of the DAZ figures?
No, they're fairly basic vertex objects I built, little robots. They're all one mesh, watertight, no intersecting geometries or anything.
Most 3D proggies nowadays can export IGS at the very least... what DO you have, besides Hex and Carrera?
Here's an actual CAD program that should do it...and unlike many CAD programs, it's not going to cost you an arm and a leg to get it.

Thank you for your replies. I currently only have access to Carrara, Hexagon, Daz Studio & Poser, and for converting formats AccuTrans and Meshlab, neither of which seem to do the formats the company requires. My friend has Rhino3d, but he's in another state and hasn't been able to figure it out.
mjc1016, I've gone ahead and downloaded FreeCAD per your suggestion and tried it, it opened my file but when I tried to exsport as .igs I get the Error "Bnd_box is void" and when I tried .stp I get "'Filename' is not a shape, export will be ignored" Google-fu isn't helping me out figuring either of these out - are these issues you've faced before with FreeCAD?
