Any resources for this? Never really (ever) needed them, but I was browsing the internet and it struck my fancy to give it a shot!

Take G2 template file(s for diff UV's) load the Torso into a 2D art program that does layers. Do a White on Black layer with the white your tan lines. Save your layer out. Open DS add a skin texture to your figure, in Surfaces ADD as new layer using LIE your tan lines to the Torso texture and line it up. Set the layer to a Blend mode and then adjust the amount you want it to fade out.

I would love to see a more detailed tutorial on how to do this. Mores step by step with pics?

I havent followed your instructions above to see if it's easy to do yet because I have been using the 'wet and tan' with great success after following additional step by step instructions provided by someone else. the wet is great as is the tan. but its for V4.

I could use a brush to white out the tan lines on photo shop but it might be nicer to use an actual bikini pattern to make the lines more precise and / or fancy.

Ugh the wrap-around makes doing that take like an hour!

If you have garibaldi hair system you can paint it directly to g2f and export it. then it's just a matter of resizing to match the skin size before adding it via LIE. If it's updated use the u symmetry to get it even

Ugh the wrap-around makes doing that take like an hour!Yes it does but it works. Another way would be to use the Built in Map transfer on the free item and transfer those to your target UV set. But of course you would only have that one set then.
