M4 Enhanced Mia Package

I loved the idea of creating a good female character from M4 so when I saw the M4 enhanced Mia package I saved up for it and finally got it.
I could not for the life of me get it to work.
I tried contacting tech support and am still waiting for the hopeful help with the product. I was told that they couldn't help me because they don't have a working copy of Poser7. Nowhere in the store product page did I see it was not compatible with Poser7. If it was it should have said so and I wouldn't have wasted money and time getting it.
I am still hoping they'd have contacted the original creator to ask about the problem but still no follow-up. I have pretty much given up.
Does anyone here have this product or know about it enough to give me some pointers on how to use it in Poser7?

You have loaded M4 and injected the M4 Enhanced Morphs?
I don't use Poser 7, I use Studio. The M4 Enhanced options for me are on the Parameters Tab for M4 in their own category, not on the shaping tab. Is there something similar in Poser?
Figure in place and M4++ are injected. When I inject the Mina Stuff to the M4++ body, what would be the HEAD Larger in the ++ dials changes name to something else and either blows the head up or shrinks it down (I don't remember anymore since it has done both anyway).
Also, at first I had a tough time trying to figure what to inject and not to inject first. Too complicated for my tastes. I thought I figured it out but......apparently not....YET!
Since tech support seems unable, and tired of waiting, I have been trying to figure out how to contact the artist, pdxjims personally via PM to ask what is what . I wish things were set up up a bit easier for the challenged like me here. Renderosity makes it sooooo much easier. How do I find an artists PM address to contact him personally here?

There used to be an icon on the desktop that used to say "Update M4" that will run it, but you can also go into the directory where M4 is installed and search for the script. I'm not at my desk, but you can search in that directory for any files ending in .bat... that should find the file you need.
The simplest way is to click on the profile button under you name and avatar and then, in the breadcrumbs along the top of that screen you will see Home / Forum Home / Member List /. Click on member list and search for the members name. Clicking on the name will in turn show their profile, time and date of last visit and a chance to view all the posts they have made in this forum.

I remember seeing that file on my desktop when I tried installing m4. But after it ran I discarded and have not had any problems with M4.....until now. What file do I need? I installed the M4 enhanced Mina and got no other file search or missing or .bat anything.
Why does all this have to be so darn complicated? What happended to the simple installs for Mil2 figures in Poser4! I miss the sweet simplicity of those days! :(
go to "Runtime:Libraries:!DAZ" and run DzCreateExPFiles-M4.bat. The stand-alone installers and DIM run this automatically, but if you manually extract the files from the zip you need to run it manually.
There is no:
DzCreateExPFiles-M4.bat
But, there is a:
DzCreateExPFiles-M4.command

M4enhanced/Mina is working okay for me in Poser Pro 2014 on windows 7 64bit.... its been awhile since I installed it so I can't remember if it was straightforward or not. I have it installed in the same runtime as M4 and V4. You can either inject the morph set M4enhanced into M4 cr2... or use one of the new M4enhanced V4 compatible cr2s it creates in the figure folder. One has M4 uvs and the other has V4 uvs which is great for using V4 skins with him/her. Both cr2s also take V4 morph injections!! like V4++ and I think they can take M4++ along with M4enhanced.... so plenty of dials to spin.
Each time you add ExP morph sets to the Gen 4 figures you need to rerun the createExP files for that figure. When installers were used, the end step used to be the "do you wish to initialize this product". The installers would often place a shortcut on desktop to the .bat or .cmd.
Perhaps a note needs to be added the wiki.

I don't know how it works on a Mac but when you click the create ExPV4.bat, a DOS window pops up and the bat file runs in the window. When it's done you exit the window.
Have you updated M4 since you installed the base?. If you haven't, you might want to download the M4 base, install it and then re-install Mina.
I just wasted 3 hours frelling (5 hours all together since the first time I excitedly installed it) with this damn set and i gotta say for me it sucks!
The read me is unhelpful. If it is not compatible with Poser7 (and it doesn't seem to be) it should have been posted in the product description page which it wasn't.
Tech support has no idea how to help me and their attempts and my attempts, to track down the original artist hoping he might be of help, have met with no response. Though the help I have gotten here from all of you was appreciated and more than I got from Tech Support, it all seems to just have encouraged me to waste more hopelessly misused time.
I tried everything suggested. I reinstalled M4 and ran that stupid ExP script and then reinstalled the M4 Enhanced-Mina package again and tried again....and again.....and again....ad nauseum. No longer want to frell with this product. I have wasted enough time. I am so damn angry and frustrated, (just like that TV commercial with the guy losing his mind when his cable tv stops working). To explain how angry and frustrated here is what happened.
Needing a snack to get my blood sugar back to normal I decided to get a nice bowl of Rice Krispies and banana. I was so stressed I couldn't open the bag with my shaking hands so grabbed a very sharp knife and tried cutting it open. I cut three fingers and lost it. I threw the knife across the kitchen in a fit of frustrated rage. I tore at the bag in a stupid uncontrolled anger and it burst, explosively blowing Rice Krispies all over my darn kitchen counters, stove, sink and floor. Cursing every saint and demon I know of, I just left it there, filled my bowl with hand fulls from where it lay piled up and broke two bananas up with my bleeding fingers for fear of using the knife again, sloppily sloshing way more milk into the already full bowl than could fit and still shaking with rage and plunging blood sugar level, I sat heavily onto the cereal covered floor and noisily inhaled my Rice Krispies cursing Poser between mouthful!
After, my blood sugar returned to a semblance of normal and a bit calmer, I sat in the dark for a while reminding myself why I wasted so much time on this crap. Realizing I have spent too many years of wasted money and effort trying to make it all work I was more convinced than ever I never should have quit photography or my beloved pen and ink art for Poser. This is supposed to be a restful fun way of spending time like reading a book or drawing. Times like this I find it is all far from that.
Computer off, now off to bed leaving the problem unsolved and Rice Krispies all over my damn Kitchen hoping tomorrow I can find some less stressful way of getting my jollies (besides cleaning cereal off everything!

I want to thank everyone for your help with this. Monday I ask for my money back because it seems of late way too many products I've purchased here that showed promise, have failed to work with what systems or lack of technical understanding i have available to me and am going back to pen and ink!
Mina should work in Poser 7. The promo image is a Poser 7 render.
If you decide to give it another go, also make sure M4 and the Mina package are installed to the same runtime/library, otherwise nothing will work no matter what.
I couldn't duplicate the HeadSize issue though (although I'm using PP2014). I loaded M4, injected M4++, clicked his head > morphforms > morphs++ > and cranked the headsize dial. I then zeroed it back, injected Mina from Pose > M4 Enhanced > M4EnhancedInjc and tested HeadSize again. It was still the same name and did the same thing.
Both injections were with Michael 4 > Body selected.
It is and i did all that too many times. Not sure why it doesn't work but it doesn't. Looks like it could have been a nice package just not being nice with me. When I installed the morph and then tried installing the mina morphs the head would shrink and then return to normal every time I injected s new morph from the set. When I checked the dials there was no indication that there were any Enhanced or Mina dials installed.
That is really strange. It's a shot in the dark, but I know there are quite a few people on the Rendo forums who keep plenty of old versions of Poser installed for testing purposes. Maybe you'd have better luck there? I haven't been in the Poserverse long enough to have ever had Poser 7.
Hope you are okay Shante.... believe me I have had similar moments of frustration with this 3D hobby. Even last night I was trying to finish an order over at Rendo before one of their time sensitive sales ended... and my dog kept tapping my shoulder from the bed behind me telling me he needed to go outside right now... and I am shouting at him like he would understand I only have 5 minutes to get the dang order submitted. I wish I had regular art skills to fall back on... that would seem to be more relaxing.
I started with Poser 7... so I really have fond memories of it introducing me to the 3D world... but it was also a very unstable version.. I remember it freezing up often (I had it on a windows laptop) even when I was just deleting a figure or working on a simple scene with few objects in it. My M4enhanced/Mina is installed in my old Poser 8 runtime after I got my desktop windows7 machine....so I doubt I had Mina installed when I still had Poser 7.
Run the ExP script AFTER installing additional morphs.
