Cannot Find The Uninstallers For Old Bitrock Installed Products!
I am wanting to uninstall a lot of my older DAZ 3D products in DAZ Studio, and re-install them using the DIM. I am having a bit of a brain glitch, as I cannot recall how to access the uninstallers that were created at the end of each installation.:red:
Mostly what I want to do is get as much content installed through the DIM, because of the way it can inform me of updates to any products installed using it. I don't want to install them with the DIM until the old Bitrock installed versions are uninstalled. Once each of the old versions are uninstalled I will delete them from my hard drive to recover as much storage space on it as possible.
I am wanting to start with my Mil 3 and 4 figures and the mil animals, and the Aiko 3 Figure Base and related products are first in line for this operation. I wish to get her old version content uninstalled completely, and then installed though the DIM. As there are several DAZ 3D products I have for her, the repetition of the process will help me to retain the knowledge on how to get this done.
So here is what I need help with: How to gain access to the uninstallers and run them. nothing more than that, as I have my copy of the DIM already setup for the installation, and I have DAZ Studio set to be able to find the new locations of the DIM installed files.
Thanks in advance for any help you can provide!
Stay Awesome!

In Windows, you should find the uninstallers in Start > All Programs > DAZ 3D, that is where I got all mine a long time ago when I uninstalled My Library, and the used DIM.
Thanks! I'll check there, however in Windows 7, there may be some differences. If so I'll need to find the equivalent of All Programs.
:-)
Some uninstallers also go into "Uninstallers" folder in your content directory. At least that's what happened to some of my stuff.

I am using Win 7, and when I click on 'Start', the first thing I see at the bottom is 'All Programs' :)

Yes I found it. Thank a bunch! I just did not recall what it was called on my machine, but as you said, that is what and where it is. I've already begun the process.
Cecilia, I will check to see if there are any in my Content Directory. Thanks for the heads up on that.
Edit: Cecilia, I found one Uninstallers folder in my Other Formats Directory with DAZ Studio, but there are no files in that folder. Still it is good to know in case I should ever need to access it in the future.
Thanks to all posting replies here! My problem is solved! :cheese:
