License Question

I just have a question which i cannot seem to get a straight answer for when searching forums or google. I also cannot fully understand how DAZ's EULA works.

Am i free to use the content I create with Carrara as i wish? Eg: For development of company projects, distributing my content online etc

As far as i have been able to gather, if you use DAZ's models or any content purchased from the store, created by another memeber, you would need to purchase a license if redistributing the content, but does the same apply to content that i create?

I apologise if this is a very common question but have never been that clued up with legal matters :)

Thank you for any help with this!

Any NEW content using NO premade content that you yourself create you are 100% free to do anything you wish with. Including sell.

Sorry, but i forgot to the ask,

Does the pre-made content mentioned include the shaders, landscapes, scenes etc, that come with Carrara 8 and 8.5 Native Content?

Yes, because that is built into Carrara it is pre-made and therefore the intellectual property of DAZ 3D.

You would need to compile your own shaders and draw your own terrains etc from scratch.

The license that you are talking about is the Game developers license, which is for those who are making new games which include DAZ 3D content in original form. Any other redistibution of any DAZ 3D products is not allowed under any circumstances, including mods for existing games.
