Anubis (for Genesis)

When trying to load/render this file I find no way to do so from the files included in the folder. Trying the so-called TRX file results in a 'can't find ...' msg even though the Anubis base file is in the Genesis folder. Running DAZ 1st doesn't give me a way to load/import the file(s) either.
Maybe I need more coffee or something.
Any help appreciated and thnx.

This was one of the earliest releases for Genesis, while we were still using DS4.0
You should go to your My Account > Product Library area, and download the most recent version if you are using a more recent version of DAZ Studio
There isn't a more recent version, I just checked — the Anubis texture files (you must apply the Anubis morphs separately from the Parameters or Shaping tabs) are still .dsa format, and nearly three years old now. The clothes files seem to be about a year newer, though. Time for an update, maybe, and also anything else of that vintage that hasn't been touched in the meantime?
Elowan, I'm not clear on what you're doing here. You mentioned the TRX file, that's one of the old executable installer programs, it doesn't load anything into a D|S scene itself. And "running DAZ first" — are you clicking on the content files in a Windows folder? I've never really had much reliable success getting D|S to launch and load that way, I've never done anything other than load content from the Content Library tab in D|S. How exactly are you trying to load Anubis?
Just as an aside...I've had better luck getting scene files to load/run Studio, by clicking on them in Linux/WINE than I ever did in Windows. In fact it was downright annoying at times...until I went and made sure that a text editor was the default item for opening them.
As to where Anubis 'lives'...he should be in Parameters > Actor > Male (probably, that's where the Gorilla lives and they came out around the same time). And his textures would probably be under People > Genesis > Materials in the Content Library.
I cheated, I clicked on "Actor" and filtered on "Anubis". That brought up the full-body shape and the separate head and legs partial shapes.
