First off, I'm a Poser and V4 user so I don't know how well V4 poses cross over to Genesis. But if they can, there are a lot of pose sets over at Renderotica. Fair warning: there's a reason Daz won't let me link to the site.

I think the question Might be are there Easy pose files for the equipment, not the figure using it. I could be wrong though.

If that's so, have you (Misty Whisky) seen this?

It seems to be saying that DS doesn't need EZ pose if the prop is constructed correctly.

product page says "All pieces have Pose Control dials"

i'm setting up some background activity in a scene, was hoping for a few poses for quicker setup.

wanted to put it in hellwarden's hand, but not going to be too picky at this point.

    thanks :)

Generation 4 poses generally get you 'in the ballpark', so to speak. There's a couple of adjustment poses that can be used to get you even closer...look on ShareCG for them.

That said, Structure/JustLastKnight has a bunch of whip poses on ShareCG/Renderosity. 'Way of the Whip' I think it's called.

EasyPose is a proprietary technology for adding control dials to Poser .cr2 files. It works all right, but it's limited to .cr2s and last time I checked, could not handle a bone chain over 99 bones. It would not have worked in the slightest for this because one, most of the whips have longer chains than that, and two, I work with .duf files.

Instead, the set has ERC Pose Controls created in DAZ Studio, which serve the same function of moving multiple bones at once but are not limited to short chains. Each individual strand (on multi-strand whips) has its own controllers in addition to controllers that move multiple strands at once. It's the most sophisticated rigging setup I've ever done (though not, I hope, the most sophisticated I WILL ever do).

If you have Posemaster or another such converter, there are some very good whip poses by Structure that are free at Rendo.

Just download all of Structure's library...then if you can't find something usable, worry about making it. (Of course, you'll be spending all your time sifting through what is there instead of searching the net...).

Oh, add Ironman13's massive freebie library, too and you'll cover just about everything needed.

All I meant at all folks was this, Was Misty hunting the Poses for the Whips (pre-made ones) which was how I read it. I sort of ASKED if she was hunting figure poses but that has been solved I see. By easy pose I simply meant one click pre-made poses not the Easy Pose controls that some props support. I personally have no issue posing the Whip rope type items. Just wanted to be helpful if I could.
