Products and Templates

Do all products come with templates? I notice when I buy stuff at Rendo I see the templates but then again I am actually manually installing the product. Do Daz products come with templates and if so where I might find them?
We have a snow day (actually ice) so I'm trying to be productive in my learning process so I want to try and change around some textures and see if it works. Next step in trying to make a texture pack.
Thanks.

Some products here have templates, but not all - if I had to guess, I'd say the percentage is close to the same as over at Rendo.
Most of the older products that have templates make them available on the store page. These are under the tab "Resource Files" in the product description - I've attached a screenshot. The majority of these are in self-extracting installer files, so download the one that matches your operating system.
The newer products that have templates make them available through the Product Library - again, I've included a screenshot. These are zip files.
The zip files that are still on the store product pages are the Mac installers. The zip files in the product library are multi purpose zips.
Thanks. They didn't have a resource tab. It's a newer product. I'll keep looking. I think I remember a program from a while back. UV Mapper or something that allows you to extract a template. I don't know. It's been a while.
You can find the free version of UV Mapper here.

If you use Daz Studio, go to the camera dropdown list and choose UV View. You can view the templates by node (body part) or by material. Unfortunately, you can't export the view, but you can always do a screenshot.

PS I always make templates for all my products. In fact, I was under the impression that DAZ required templates for every product submitted. Once, when I forgot the templates, my QA tester mailed me and asked me to send them before the product could be passed.
One thing to keep in mind when it comes to the templates...the template will be in the 'base' package. If it's an add-on set for clothing or something, the template will be in the item it is for.
I see Mac already supplied the link to the free UV Mapper Classic. It's really easy to "Load" a model (OBJ), and then "Save Template" to get a texture template to work with.
Thanks for all of the advice. I still have some things to install. It seems like it is taking forever. I haven't paid much attention to templates before but am again and prolly the one I am looking for is there. I just need to find where it may be. Even after all of this time, I still can't find what I am looking for lol. Although categories really do help.
Tonight I got side tracked and watched some modeling vids so I'll try again tomorrow.
