Generation X - 'Load Figure' button grayed out

Trying to get the GenX plugin ot do my bidding on Daz 4.6. According to Daz everything is dandy when I check the status of the plugin and everything seemingly works in the GenX window, except that some pretty important parts like "Load Figure", "Transfer", "Select" etc are grayed out and can't be clicked at all.

Been trying to understand why and I've uninstalled the plugin, reinstalled it, rebooted, changed layouts etc, to no avail.

Has anyone encountered this before?
