Moving DIM Content Library to another drive...

So I am pretty computer savvy and not asking for the basics of moving content. What I am doing is changing my DIM Content Library (currently C:\Users\Public\Documents\My DAZ 3D Library) to my NAS (Z:\Runtimes\Studio\DIM Library).

I know how to change the settings in DIM for this to happen; however, I have a couple questions on how to go about this process:

1. Should I COPY all the content to the new folder and then change the location in DIM? And if I do so, will all the installation information follow through?

or

2. Should I UNINSTALL all my content, change the location in DIM, and reinstall all the content to the new location?

Or is there an Option 3 I am failing to recognize?

Obviously Option 2 would be the longer drawn out process, so wondering which will be the proper and easiest method of accomplishing this task.

Again, this is ONLY DIM installed content. I already have all my other content on the NAS (in another folder), but at the time of installing DIM when released, failed to recognize all new data was put on my C:\ drive so needing to move it...

Thanks!

Option 3 would be to move the library then use Notepad++ or similar program to do a batch Find & Replace of the old install path to the new install path in the Manifest files. The files will be in C:/User/Public/Documents/DAZ 3D/InstallManager/ManifestFiles. Of the few manifests I checked the line to change was always line 15.

EDIT: Didn't realize Notepad++ would do that, hehehe...

Are the manifest files the only place DIM stores that data? If so, that would definitely make things easier!

Yes, the ManifestFiles folder is where DIM stores the info on what was installed and where.

Sweet, thanks! Option 3 definitely sounds the way to go!
