Anyone know how to contact Polish?

Polish so far has been putting out the best content I've been seeing lately on this site, their creative mind has impressed me. I was wondering if anyone had their contact info? Because the mechs look cool and I was going to ask if they would be interested in making more of them, it's about time DAZ finally got some actual stuff that looks like cool sci fi content.

I'd love to have a railway train gun made but have it actually attached to a train with train carts like the one in Lost Planet 2

I've been buying up a lot of Polish's stuff because its hard to find cool/neat theme items. And so far their like the only vendor that's releasing a lot of fresh ideas . Or just items that really captured my interest.

Either way I'd like to see more of those mechs being made, the weaponry also looks good too. Don't know how often vendors cruise around these forums.

But hopefully more sci fi content is in development. Also have an interest in battle ships/war ships, more sci fi aircrafts too.But not the Star Wars looking ones though lol.

I don't think I have ever seen Polish post to the forums,  many PAs do not.  The only way is to file a ticket and ask CS to relay a message to him.

And the best way to convince a PA to make more of a certain type of thing is to buy it, and get other people to buy it as well.

Funny, when I think of Polish, I don't think of mechs or Sci Fi, I think of vehicles, and hand weapons. Might have to have another look at their store.

Polish is actually a pretty versatile PA, with products ranging from medieval/fantasy to contemporary to futuristic sci-fi, from buildings and interiors to weapons to vehicles. If you need anything other than people, clothing and hair, there's a decent chance Polish has something for you.

Just to show off this diversity, here are three consecutive Polish releases:

Not really, I've had vendors make stuff for me when I asked at Renderosity, don't know how it is with the DAZ vendors. I think they would still do it if you already strongly support their line up of products. I always buy their content when the price drops. If I could I'd get them regardless of a price drop just because I want to support the ones I really like a lot even if I pay full price.

I already got the train staton, and I have one of their gun sets, intend to get more eventually. Their room environments are pretty good too though I sort of still have a hard time with environment lighting.

A few of Polish's mechs seem somewhat inspired by the Zoids model kit line. Sci-fi Dog Mecha and Sci-Fi Scorpion Mecha have features resembling the Shadow Fox and Deathpion respectively. Haven't bough either yet, but they're both on my Wishlist and I'm looking forward to what comes next. Nice to see a fellow Zoids fan amongst the Daz3d content creators.

I find his stuff far too heavily inspired by other's intellectual property myself

Yeah his stuff is fantastic. I'd put him up next to Stonemason, but obviously he/she doesn't do big environmental scenes. But the models are excellent

  • I have his vintage car set, and TBH, I'm not real thrilled. I really wanted the pick-up truck, but the tail gate doesn't drop and you can see holes in the tail gate where the name of the truck would go, so basically, I can't use the truck. I know I could put a plane in there and shade it myself, but why should I have to?

One of the other vintage cars doesn't seem to scale with a average person (sure, I can scale it myself), but in all honesty, I shouldn't have to.

Keep in mind that there may be more than one artist operating under the 'Polish' moniker.  This is not unusual actually, Ironman13 being one example, and it would explain the wide variety of items that are created/released by Polish, with 'differing styles' if that makes sense.

There's a reason in particular that I mention this, but of course I don't know the full particulars of what happens behind the scenes. I just wanted to let the OP know that there may be more than one artist involved in the creation of Polish assets, which may affect whom you may end up talking to if you end up getting in touch with Polish.

Also, there is a Schwerer Gustav 800mm Railroad Gun available in .obj and other formats at a few other sites that deal in 3D models, which you may be able to import into Daz Studio.  Google is your friend!
